Homework:
March 31 (Tuesday): Visit this website. Take a look at the pictures and read the captions. Which image/caption is the most memorable to you? Write at least one paragraph in response to one of the photographs; you may want to cite The Grapes of Wrath to support your opinion.
April 3 (Friday): Visit this website. Read the photographer's notes regarding the photo ("Migrant Mother") that you saw in "The Story of the Times." Read this article and type a page (4-5 paragraphs) personal response using examples and details from The Grapes of Wrath for support.
April 13 (Monday): Visit this website. Read the photo essay. Which image or detail is most memorable to you? Print the photo and write a 2-3 paragraph journal entry from the point-of-view of either a person in the photograph or the photographer.
April 15-17 (Wednesday-Friday): You'll have three days in class to complete this webquest. If you need additional time, you'll need to finish on your own time. The webquest is due by the end of the day Friday.
